"Green Velo and Masuria" is a cycling tour, first part of which is a section of the Green Velo route from Elbląg to Węgorzewo. From Węgorzewo, we mainly travel along the Masurian Cycling Loop. We average about 73 km per day, with a target distance of 512 km. For added comfort, luggage is carried in a technical vehicle. All that's left is to enjoy the ride and admire the surrounding landscape.
From the very first day we will see beautiful nature and impressive monuments. The cycling rally begins in Elbląg – one of the oldest cities in Poland. We cycle along the Vistula Lagoon, visiting towns with fascinating histories: Frombork, Braniewo, Lidzbark Warmiński, and Bartoszyce. The first part of the rally follows the Green Velo routes, and from Węgorzewo, we cycle among the Masurian lakes, known as "miracles of nature." The proposed route covers almost the entire Masurian Cycling Loop. We can modify our program as needed, for example, by introducing new elements such as a kayaking trip on the Krutynia River.
