Rafting down the Pieniny Gorge of the Dunajec River is an attraction on a European scale! We sail by boats among the limestone rock formations of the Pieniny Mountains, admiring the "Three Crowns" or "Ostra Skała".
The most popular section of the trip from Sromowce Wyżne to Szczawnica is approx. 18 km long and takes approx. 2 hours. 15 minutes
Details:
- early morning departure by bus to Sromowce Wyżne
- rallying on a rafting boat to Szczawnica
- after reaching Szczawnica, we have several options to choose from for the rest of the day:
- free time in Szczawnica (possible ascent to Palenica or Sokolnik)
- return to Sromowce Wyżne by bike along the Pieniny Road (Velo Dunajec)
- return to Sromowce Wyżne along the blue trail, peaks through "Sokola Perć", "Trzy Korony" etc.
- return by bus to Niedzica, visiting the Niedzica Castle and/or Velo Czorsztyn, i.e. by bike around Lake Czorsztyńskie and/or sunbathing on the lake
- late afternoon or evening return to Katowice
- possible other variants of organization of the day
- possibility to organize rafting trips on this section in pontoons or kayaks
- available languages of the tour: Polish, English, Spanish, German, Russian
